AC Technician

AC Technician – Job & Responsibilities
1. Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
2. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
3. Knowledge of both split system air conditioners and window type air conditioners
4. Implement preventive maintenance programs for air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment
5. Fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork and chassis parts, using portable metalworking tools and welding equipment
6. Ensure compliance of applicable Safety Standards and procedures
7. Troubleshoot problems with units (electrical or refrigerant)
8. Troubleshoot issues with wall mounted, split, package, roof units
9. Clean condenser and evaporator coils
10. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
11. Inform supervisors of completed and outstanding work orders
12. Perform any and all duties which may be assigned
13. Observing prescribed safety standards
AC Technician – Qualifications
1. A recognized qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning
2. Minimum 5 years’ experience post trade test
3. Be flexible with regards to working hours
4. 2 years full time Diploma/Trade Certificate in Air Conditioning
5. Minimum of 5 years working experience in maintaining Air Conditioners, Chillers and refrigeration equipment
6. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in HVAC trade
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
