Safety Specialist supports the Safety Manager and Safety Director in the improvement of safety management, understanding and performance within their organizational responsibility area. They work with different teams to implement, maintain and continually improve KONE Way for Safety.
Main functions are:
Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety. Act as a role model
Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation together with the safety team
Provide professional advice and support to the unit on matters affecting safety
Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety
Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans
Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices
Support safety related change management projects and initiatives.
Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data.
Perform safety audits regularly to verify compliance, identify uncontrolled risks and deviations
Assist line management in safety audits/visits and support the audit process improvement
Analyse and investigate incidents. Support the investigation process improvement
Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement.
Support the training and development of others’ safety competences in the unit
Professional requirements:
Master’s or bachelor’s degree in relevant field
At least 3 year of professional experience.
High level of English.
Good organization skills.
