About the role

Our Operations team, composed of 6 people, is integrated in the Product Regulations and Stewardship department and focuses on preparation of Safety Data Sheets, labels and certificates for the whole Solvay company portfolio in collaboration with Global Product Stewards, Hazard Communication, TERA and Compliance teams.
As a Safety Data and Process Optimization Analyst, you will work on data extraction, management, analysis and reporting to support the Product Stewardship Operations team. You will get the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement of the data management, processes and methodologies within the team and have a positive impact on enhancing product safety, regulatory compliance, and overall operational efficiency.
You will be accountable for:
- Analyze safety data in the SAP EHS system thoroughly to find areas that can be automated and optimized;
- Identify patterns, problems, and opportunities for continuous improvement by extracting and analyzing diverse data;
- Support for project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives aimed at enhancing operational performance;
- Support the implementation of technology solutions and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity;
- As needed, assist with the creation of Safety Data Sheets and other documentation.
We offer a 12 months fixed-term contract based on hybrid working mode.

About you

Relevant education degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Life Sciences;
Relevant knowledge and/or work experience in Data Analytics;
Familiarity with GHS (Globally Harmonized System) and experience with SAP is a plus;

About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portuguese base pay reasonably expected for this role is 18k EUR to 19k EUR, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
