Detailed description of work task to be carried out
This position is in new teams in Data Systems where we are expanding our Data Lake and building strong capabilities and Data Marts for enabling data democratization.
In this role you will work with some of the technologies below:
Hadoop Platform, Snowflake, Python, SQL, Robot Framework, git, Bash, Jenkins, AWS
Day to Day responsibilities:

Test complex applications built in Hadoop and Cloud Platforms (Snowflake)
Implement python libraries as extension for Robot Framework
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test libraries
Identify and implement improvements and process automation for day to day tasks/challenges
Test scenario and test case preparation
Test data preparation
Implementing test automation scripts
Test results analysis and defect reporting
Release planning and reporting

Description of knowledge and experience

6+ years of development experience with Python
6+ years experience with database technologies
6+ years experience with GIT
3+ years experience with Robot Framework
3+ years experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Strong working experience with Linux and bash
Experience with containerization using Docker
Knowledge of streaming and queues technologies e.g. KAFKA, IBM MQ, Rabbit MQ
Working knowledge of Devops

Knowledge about following is a plus:

Knowledge of Big Data concepts, such as Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera/Map R) including streaming technologies
Cloud systems (such as AWS, GCP or Azure), Snowflake
