As a Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks for our mobile SDKs. Your work will ensure the robustness, performance, and reliability of our mobile ad solutions, contributing to a sustainable competitive advantage. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and implement automated tests that support our business goals and enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated testing frameworks for mobile SDKs.
- Test Script Implementation: Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing of mobile SDK features.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile ad solutions by implementing comprehensive test strategies and maintaining high test coverage.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, design test plans, and identify test cases.
- Bug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using industry-standard bug tracking tools, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the testing process by adopting best practices, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, test scripts, and test results.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and excellence.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in QA automation for mobile SDKs and/or applications.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
- Experience with utilizing device farms for automated tests.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java or Kotlin.
- Experience with mobile testing on both i OS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or similar.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Innovation: A passion for staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Experience with ad integration and monetization strategies in mobile applications.
- Knowledge of advertising technology.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
- Experience with improving Crashes and ANR rates through a solid QA process.
