We are looking for an experienced Senior BI Engineer who recognizes the importance of both individual and group effort to deliver high quality products that meet customer needs. In this role, you will contribute significantly to successful results in Lumada APM Reliability product which is a new and continuously developed product in Lumada APM family. Reporting to Piotr Jantos, you will work in a collaborative environment and have possibility to provide guidance to the wider R&D team. You will see your work transformed into a tangible product. Our main technology is currently Power BI. However, we will be investigating actively other opportunities. You can be a part of this transformation.
Our tech stack and tools include SQL (Postgre SQL, SQL Server), Power BI, DAX, Tableau, Sisense, OS BI tools.
Your responsibilities
Designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders’ needs.
Gathering and understanding business requirements for data visualization and analysis
Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
Experience with SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
Creating complex DAX calculations and measures
Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices
Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI report
Designing and developing a modern, integration platform that is available as Cloud (Saa S) and on-premises versions.
Following best software development practices that result in the very good code quality (doing code reviews, and knowledge sharing)
Working in a cross-disciplinary team using the Agile development methodology
Sharing your knowledge and experience with other team members
Your background
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or an equal field of study
At least 6-8 years of experience in Business Intelligence development
Skillsets should mandatorily include expertise in Power BI, DAX, Tableau, SQL, Sisense.
Strong understanding of the large-scale distributed systems
Experience with:
the development techniques and frameworks
An agile development environment
Technical knowledge of cloud-based systems (infrastructure, platform types, and software as a service principles) is considered as an advantage.
Experience with the microservice architecture or Azure technologies are considered as an advantage.
