Job description
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for testing the software used in a new elevator system. Your main tasks will include understanding the product requirements, creating and executing test scenarios, and automating these processes. You will also rewrite existing functional test cases to align them with new requirements and software changes. In addition, you will collaborate with the software development team in debugging and ensuring the smooth integration of the elevator system software.

You will be working for a multinational company that specializes in the production, installation, maintenance, and modernization of escalators, elevators, and moving walkways. This project focuses on the construction of a new elevator system that integrates both hardware and software. The company operates in over 140 countries, with a workforce of more than 66,000 employees worldwide, providing services in a wide range of buildings from residential to high-rise commercial spaces.Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of software testing experience
- Proficiency in QA automation and Python
- Background in embedded systems
- Ability to understand complex software and hardware requirements
- Experience in writing and adapting functional test cases
- Proficiency in English
- Experience working in functional safety environments is a plus
