QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities
-
Contribute to our automation processes, applying industry best practices and lead continuous improvements
-
Help streamline quality processes with special focus on the release process and release time
-
Develop and implement analysis tools, labs and environments
Requirements
-
3+ years of work experience in a QA role with a focus on automation testing (Java, Type Script).
-
Understanding of testing layers and difference between them
-
Expertise in using automation frameworks for testing web applications and APIs.
-
Proven experience in identifying, reporting, and managing defects and issues within an automated testing environment using JIRA, TFS, Test Rail, or similar tools.
-
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, or similar.

Experience in testing RESTful APIs and microservices, and knowledge of API testing tools such as Swagger, Postman, Soap UI, or similar.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders.

Programming skills in one or more languages such as Java, Type Script, Go
