As an Intern Development Engineer Mechanics, you will be part of the R&D team that creates professional lighting solutions. You will work in a dynamic business context, together with other functions ensuring that what we do aligns well with the specific market demands.

In close cooperation with leading Mechanical Engineer, you’ll support luminaire development teams by:

• Development of the mechanical concept of luminaire components and modules in a CAD environment (Solid Edge), in accordance with functional, normative, cost and quality requirements
• Preparation or maintenance of technical product documentation for entrusted components, modules, and their technical release.
• Building luminaire prototypes
• Assisting in the definition and execution of functional and normative product release tests
• Assisting in technical discussions with suppliers

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (or similar)
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing technologies, especially plastic injection, die-casting, extrusion, sheet metal processing... (any practical experience will be highly appreciated)
• Knowledge in electrotechnics will be appreciated
• You are at the beginning of Your Career
• You communicate effectively in English.
• Creative, curious, and eager to learn.
• You are a good team player.
