Responsibilities:
The Indirect Material Buyer for Transport and Logistics will be responsible for managing sourcing activities, executing contracts, and overseeing supplier performance for an assigned set of transport and logistics services. The Indirect Material Buyer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including the Transport Management Team, Supply Chain, Supplier Quality, Risk Management, Finance, and Accounting, to coordinate actions related to Requests for Quotations and contract execution. This role ensures the effective procurement of logistics services while maintaining strong relationships with service providers and optimizing costs.
define or contribute to the sourcing strategy for transport and logistics,
prepare and manage RFQ (request for quotation) processes in line with the bid list defined by the sourcing strategy for the area of responsibility,
provide supplier recommendations (REC) during sourcing decision meetings,
generate purchase agreements (contracts) in line with the supplier selection (REC),
ensure contract execution, including LTA application, quality, logistics, performance, development, and capacity increase,
manage escalations with suppliers regarding quality, logistics, or obsolete resources when necessary,
prepare, manage, and execute resourcing activities,
coordinate and prepare various business reviews with suppliers,
manage the administrative tasks related to these activities (purchase orders, amendments, etc.),
handle reporting, such as performance roadmaps.
Requirements:
purchasing negotiation skills,
good level in performing quantitative analysis,
experience in preparing and managing requests for proposals (RFQ) in accordance with the supplier list and raw material strategy - very important,
mandatory English bright (able to manage negotiations with suppliers in English),
digital sourcing solutions and XLS/Access,
