The Boeing Poland is currently hiring an Entry-Level Data Analytics Industrial Engineer to support our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Data Analytics Team in Gdansk or Warsaw, Poland.

BGS Data Analytics team is responsible for developing standard Industrial Engineering Tier Metrics across all Boeing Global Services departments and providing them before the start of the daily operations cadence. This includes analyzing and processing big data sets to build state of the art Tableau dashboards to support global operations. The successful candidate will be a part of the team broadly responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Tier metrics, critical to ensure continuity of BGS business operations.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Application basic industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product and services to meet program requirements
  • Participation in development standard Industrial Engineering Tier Metrics across BGS, incl. assistance with its design, testing, evaluation of its major functional parameters, and maintenance
  • Demonstration the use of data-gathering, data-preparation and data-analysis techniques
  • Development simple models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and providing summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders.
  • Support of researching, designing, development, improvement, and implementation processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and quality improvement
  • Support of execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling practices
  • Following compliance requirements with established design standards and technical guidelines
  • Providing the metrics data by 5 a.m. U.S. Easter time (11 a.m. at CET)

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. During the first 90 days (probation period) 100% onsite presence is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • Advanced level of English
  • Skills in collecting, processing, synthesizing, and analyzing data

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
  • Knowledge of hardware and software components which, when properly integrated, enable a specific process to be realized
  • Familiarity with the Tier 1, 2, and 3 structure to develop a standard metric suite
  • Knowledge in Tableau, Tableau Server, or SQL
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs
  • Flexibility & adaptability in a diverse & fast paced environment

Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
