Ashland has an exciting opportunity for an EMEA Life Sciences and I&S Business Support.
This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Business Support function. This position will report to the Sr Business Support Manager EMEA Life Sciences & Intermediates. This is a hybrid position.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- General business support for the Pharmaceutical and Nutrition business units for a defined area of responsibility
- Support to the Sales Team in handling all customer’s needs
- Coordination of all the customers and distributors’ QA, Regulatory, EHS and Technical requests; close cooperation with Quality and Regulatory Departments / Global Trade Compliance / Technical teams
- Price management for customers and distributors (updating in Sales Force, liaising with CSR, Product Managers and Sales to ensure a smooth process)
- Coordination of the entire process of commercial contracts and QAA, quality and supply agreements together with the QA, Regulatory and Legal Departments
- Customer’s Specification review: coordination with the internal departments
- Responsibility of the whole Rebates process
- VCERs for quality/product spec changes
- Handling of the quality complaints
- Handling of direct customers’ sample requests
- CDA / NDA process coordination
- Responsibility of the customer’s notifications
- Data update and clean-up in SAP/Sales Force (working with MD), monitoring customers’ accounts
- Supporting the organization and attending local seminars and EMEA exhibitions (this requires a couple of business travels a year)
- Actively contribute to the organizational goals by taking initiative, executing on goals and focusing on performance and safety
- Improve the organization capacity and capabilities through building collaborative relationships, optimizing diverse talent and utilizing positive communications and influence with others
In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
- Previous experience in the Chemical Industry within sales/marketing support, customer service or similar
- Fluent English and preferably Turkish
- Very good communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain focus when working alone
- Positive attitude
- Ability to solve problems
- Strong commitment and motivation
- Demonstrated responsible and ethical behavior at all times
- The ability to help the company drive greater value through understanding the business, making complex decisions and creating the new and different
