Bearings, Seals and Drives Team is looking for Advanced Lead Engineer supporting LM9000 & LM6000 aeroderivative engines.
The Advanced Lead Engineer's responsibility is to lead assigned projects and demonstrate accountability in communicating business goals, programs and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and could affect short-term business goals.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned individual and team projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

Lead or participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues
-
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews
-
Recommend, with guidance, the approach to meet the technical and program requirements
-
Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned project and/or tasks consistent with engineering polices and procedures.

Develop action plans with guidance to respond to issues/ problems
-
Consulting assigned tasks with technical experts, seniors & principal engineers.

Provide technical leadership to cross functional teams supporting the assigned project
Required Qualifications

MSc/BSc in Engineering
-
Experience relevant to indicated position area of expertise

Good level of English
Desired Characteristics

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Established project management skills.

Knowledge of the finite element methodology

Proficiency in engineering programs: Ansys Mechanical, Hypermesh, NX
