Job description
Job Purpose: To supervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned store/department, section, or category, and ensure the attainment of sales and profitability targets; To assist in the formulation and implementation of local sales strategies and store plans and programs to ensure total customer satisfaction, quality service, quality products, and quality people; To identify market opportunities and potential of the assigned store/ department, section or category.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plans the day-to-day operations of the assigned store / department, section or category.
· Plans and executes effective and efficient selling operations to achieve sales and profitability targets.
· Maintains and monitors display arrangements, pricing system, stock inventory, and sales information.
· Plans and executes the highest standard customer service best practices in the selling area.
· Generates sales leads, recommends and executes sales plan to capture retail or wholesale markets.
· Works closely with Marketing Department for sales support and implementation of promotion programs.
· Coordinates with Merchandising Department for display improvement and highlights of new stocks and maintenance of focal display areas.
· Oversees, orients, and trains outsourced selling personnel and other retail operations staff (sales talk).
