Position Overview:
The School Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for calling school contacts and establishing relationships over the phone. This role is essential in setting up appointments for our team to meet with key personnel at schools to discuss how our services can support their students. The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills and a personable, professional demeanor to ensure positive engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Call school contacts (principals, special education directors, etc.) using the provided contact lists
Engage with decision-makers and effectively communicate the value of our speech therapy services
Schedule in-person appointments for our team with school administrators
Keep accurate records of all calls and appointments in a CRM or spreadsheet
Build rapport and maintain positive relationships with school personnel
Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly to ensure timely appointments
Collaborate with the sales and outreach teams to optimize appointment setting strategies
Requirements:
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally and build rapport
Experience in a sales or customer service role, particularly phone-based communication
Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple appointments
Familiarity with using a CRM system or spreadsheet for tracking calls and appointments
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Experience in education, healthcare, or related fields is a plus but not required
