Purchasing Staff
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists the Purchasing Officer in the formulation of policies and procedures related to the procurement operations.
- Receives and relays messages to the Purchasing Officer for immediate action.
- Checks and records receipt of requisitions, inspects for accuracy and completeness, and enters the requisition data into the computer.
- Issues purchase orders to the suppliers or pharmaceutical companies.
- Answers telephone calls and provides assistance and information regarding the status of purchase orders and related purchasing activities.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with medical terms and hospital/clinic items
- Knowledge in basic procurement policies and processes.
- At least one (1) year experience in a Procurement Function
