Overhaul Mechanic
Key Responsibilities:
Pay: Php550.00 - Php650.00 per day
Benefits:
- Disassembly and Inspection:
- Disassemble mechanical equipment and machinery for inspection, cleaning, and repair.
- Conduct thorough inspections of components to identify wear, damage, or defects.
- Document findings and report equipment condition to supervisors.
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting:
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions using various diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Identify root causes of failures and determine the appropriate repair methods.
- Repair and Maintenance:
- Replace or repair defective parts, such as bearings, gears, pistons, and valves.
- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance tasks to minimize breakdowns.
- Rebuild or overhaul engines, transmissions, pumps, and other components as needed.
- Reassembly and Testing:
- Reassemble machinery and equipment following the manufacturer’s specifications.
- Perform testing and quality checks to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
- Adjust and fine-tune machinery to achieve desired performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and equipment condition.
- Complete service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure the work environment is safe and free from hazards.
- Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other mechanics, engineers, and supervisors on complex repair tasks.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, with specific expertise in overhauling mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, power tools, and manual hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a mechanical workshop.
Pay: Php550.00 - Php650.00 per day
