Logistics Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure effective and timely pick-up, shipping and delivery of related importations.
- Support in outsourcing and qualifying external logistics providers that can serve the organization’s requirements for its Logistics operations.
- Establish and manage relations with warehouses, carriers, truckers and customs brokers.
- Coordinate with VASP and Trade Facilitation Division for the control of import and export items needs to be uploaded.
- Monitor balances and ensure funding request for Outback pre-payment and BRN account.
- Check and monitor tagging of importation entry once delivered to ensure that bonds is replenish and with sufficient balance.
- Ensure billing timeliness of third-party logistics provider as well as checking and encoding of billing on company’s system.
- Ensure compliance with the Bureau of Customs and Trade Facilitation Division for related import and export transactions.
- Monitor weekly bookings and shipping order creation (manually and using customer’s system) for the company’s exportation side. Do necessary follow ups on the person in-charge to ensure meeting booking timeline.
- Ensure correctness of documentations such as packing lists, bill of lading, export packing declaration and certificate of origin being generated on the export side.
- Develop and initiate monthly reports having required by the company particularly for month-end.
- Supervise team to develop, articulate and maintain logistics process.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
- Preparation of Advance Shipment booking for different destinations, indicating description of products per container, quantity, and PO number to be used.
- Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability.
- Prepare daily shipment plans based on the weekly production plans provided by Planning team.
- Update load plan and confirm daily container booking together with the Export Specialist.
- Lead team to develop, articulate and maintain Logistics processes and accurate documentation of every product movement.
- Create, monitor, and complete export shipments in Excel to ensure timely and correct information is available to all parties.
- Education and Training: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or industrial engineering
- With at least 2 years of experience as Logistics Supervisor
- Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
- Decision Making, Communication Skill to effectively negotiate with carriers, suppliers, custom brokers, and customers
- Knowledgeable in shipping processes and metrics implemented by the government agencies especially for freeport zone location.
- Must be able to work on many different projects at one time
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgement and diplomacy.
- Must be able to prepare reports and write business correspondence.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
- MS Office & G Suite tools expert
- Excellent organizational and supervisor skills
