Job Title: IT Specialist
Location: Pilar, Sorsogon
The IT Specialist at our Rural Bank will help keep all technology systems running smoothly and securely. This includes providing technical support to staff, managing the bank's network and servers, implementing cybersecurity protections, and taking care of software, hardware, and various IT devices. The IT Specialist will also work with management to create and carry out IT plans that match the bank's goals and rules.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT Officer in helping staff fix issues with computers, software, networks, and IT devices.
• Manage the bank's network (servers, routers, firewalls) to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
• Protect the bank’s systems from cyber threats by setting up and maintaining security measures.
• Regularly check system performance, fixing any security weaknesses by applying updates.
• Work with vendors to buy IT equipment and services that are cost-effective and high quality.
• Help create and maintain IT policies and documents to meet regulations.
• Stay updated on new technologies and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and customer service.
• Be knowledgeable about various IT devices to provide comprehensive support.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
Preferably with 1 year of experience in IT support and administration, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and IT best practices.
Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization technologies, and cloud services.
Experience with IT procurement and vendor management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Certifications such as Computer Systems Servicing, & Programming (IF ANY)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php10,000.00 - Php12,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay
• Performance bonus
• Yearly bonus
