Job Summary:
To oversee the field plantation management activities such as tree plantation establishment, maintenance, silvicultural applications, plantation protection, field forest survey and inventory and nursery operations. To be responsible for coaching, resolving complex field issues relating to the implementation of plantation activities. Collaboratively supervise the Forestry Staff of Lumino Energy Tree Plantation ensuring performances and deadlines are achieved as per schedule. He will be well-versed in processes under the role’s responsibility and will be results-driven and focused.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall field supervision of the plantation management activities and nursery operations.
• Implementation company’s goals and objectives ensuring performances and deadlines are met.
• Organize workflow and ensure that field employees understand their duties and delegated tasks.
• Plan and assign work activities to field supervisors and leadmen.
• Develops systems and procedures in the management of the company’s nurseries.
• Lead responsible in the implementation of the company’s sustainable Forest Management Plan ensuring compliance to FSC Forest Management standards.
• Takes senior lead role in ensuring plantation activities are compliant to approved to forest tree plantation activities and nursery operation.
• Directly act as Assistant to the Plantation Manager in all matters relating to forest tree plantation activities and nursery operation.
• Ensures that safety protocols are internalized and followed for all field workers.
• Formulate plantation strategies and work-flow processes that will further enhance productivity.
• Take the lead in the preparation of various plantation plans and budgetary requirements including schedule of work activities.
• Initiate forestry trainings to field workers and the preparation of LEPI’s Annual Forestry Training Program.
• Assist and represent the Plantation Manager, when directed, in matters concerning coordination and communication with regulatory agencies such as DENR, EMB, LGU, BLGU and NCIP.
• Represent the company of Forestry related forums, events, meetings and conventions.
• Takes direct charge in engaging the local Ips and communities in the project area ensuring harmonious relationship at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the Community Relations Team as requested, and as when the need arises.
• Perform other duties as may be required from time to time.

Qualification Guides:

• Graduate of BS in Forestry
• At least minimum of three (3) years experience in Forestry related work such as tree plantation management, forest survey and inventory.
• Licensed professional Forester is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge in basic GIS mapping application management and silvicultural practices.
• Excellent communication skills
• Must possess a valid Philippine Driver’s License and able to operate a motorcycle and four-wheel vehicle.
• Must be physically capable of performing forest field work, prolonged forest hikes and camping in the forest.
• Experience in managing Renewable Energy Powerplant in various locations.
• Must have an experience in managing Acacia Mangium plantation
• Experience in managing timber/lumber and wood chips plantation
• Must be knowledgeable in FSC Standards
