Financial Planning Analyst

- Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Collect and analyze variance reports across departments, providing insights to top management for decision-making.
- Develop, analyze, and summarize recommendations for annual or quarterly financial plans, including trend analysis.
- Lead the preparation of budgets, coordinating with departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, and conducting budget reviews to communicate status updates.
- Develop 3-year and 5-year financial budgets and forecasts to guide strategic decisions.
- Prepare profit and loss scenarios for new ventures or expansions, contributing to strategic business decisions.
- Produce and present analyses of financial and operational performance to support data-driven decision-making.
- Implement processes to enhance analytical, reporting, and forecasting capabilities, driving improvements in financial performance.
- Use data analysis to challenge existing practices and drive innovation within the organization.
- Conduct in-depth financial analyses to identify opportunities for improving financial performance across business lines.
- Ensure budgeting processes comply with regulatory requirements and maintain internal controls.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and various departments to gather inputs and align financial strategies with overall company goals.
- Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles and concepts.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and finance-based modeling skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various departments and senior management.
- Experience with long-term financial planning and scenario analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve financial performance issues.
