Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Supervisor to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, collaborate with department heads to forecast financial performance, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
Accounts Management: Supervise the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of transactions and resolution of discrepancies.
Internal Controls: Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax reporting and filing.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Audit Preparation: Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and readily available.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
Proficient in financial software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate.
High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be willing to work on site in Santiago, Isabela
