Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Implement and monitor internal and external communications activity, including sales and marketing collateral, web content management and design, presentations, and other digital marketing platform contents.
• Implement the various promotional and advertising campaigns to include adopting market-specific promotional collateral and demonstrations.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing programs and promotions with Sales as part of the 1-year and 3-year Sales and Marketing Plans.
• Implement all marketing, advertising and promotional activities and support sales lead generation and objectives.
• Recommend marketing materials and supplies needed to support programs and promotions.
• Coordinate with Supply personnel in the procurement of marketing supplies, as needed.
• Monitor jobbers or third-party providers in completing marketing, advertising and promotional projects or materials awarded to them.
• Gather market insights, observations, trends, competitive activities, pricing and pricing strategy in the field, and provide data to the organization to facilitate offer development and adaptation.
• Support thorough customer insighting activities and report observations and trends.
• Monitor customer utilization of marketing collaterals, signage, equipment and other support materials and ensure they are in good condition; Recommend replacement where applicable.
• Monitor compliance of provisions in marketing contracts with customers.
• Monitor market feedback on marketing programs, adverts and promotions and report to the organization.
• Monitor e-commerce activity and how this destructive technology impact the business and marketing strategies.
• Manage retrieval of on-site signage and branding equipment after utilization, where applicable.
• Assist in the planning and execution of trade show and grand opening or launching promotional activities with Sales.
• Utilize modern media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and other popular tools for marketing purposes.
• Maintain records of market analysis and competitive activity, and consolidating current industry/competitor trends.
• Monitor e-commerce activities; gather data and intelligence on disruptive technology and its effects on the company’s marketing activities.
• Assist in the planning and the utilization of the BDF and company marketing budget in marketing activities and intelligence.
• Monitor utilization of BDF, ensuring approvals for reimbursement.
• Recommend and implement sustainability programs as part of the Corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Support the use of the Exxon Mobil brand/s.
• Support brand and product integrity compliance.
• Execute customer surveys on program and promotional awareness, effectiveness and results.
• Act as a focal point for supplier-supported marketing activities, in the absence of the Marketing Manager.
• Conduct local market research to identify new leads and new markets, as directed.
• Support development of marketing data analytics.
• Execute survey on customer awareness and satisfaction of marketing programs and activities.
• Support sales in revenue generation.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• BS/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; additional certifications are a plus.
• At least 1 year of marketing experience or 2 years of related sales experience.
