We are an agritourism organic farm located in Luisiana, Laguna producing vegetables,herbs, free range Brown Dekalb Chicken eggs and Stingless Bee honey. We also offer on-site accommodation for our guests with forest trails and bamboo sanctuary.
We are in search of a motivated, organized and focused farm/tourism Manager to run the daily operations of the farm and supervise two staff members. This will be a live in job opportunity.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Operation of a free range layer chicken farm with 30 chickens including purchase and preparation of organic feeds
- Operation of a field vegetable/herb farm including preparation of organic concoction, potting soil and seedling trays, planting the field and irrigation
- Harvesting stingless bee honey
- Sales of the farm produce in the local market
- Response to the accommodation inquiries and bookings
- Housekeeping of the accommodation
- General maintenance of the grounds, buildings and infrastructure
-Preparation of monthly financial reports and Processing of documents and other requirements related to the operations of the farm.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in agricultural management
- College degree in agricultural field
- Leadership and team building skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
