The Operation & Maintenance Electrical Technician reports directly to the O&M Supervisor. The position is responsible for monitoring equipment performance and implementation of corrective and preventive maintenance of the electrical components and instruments of the main and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimum efficiency and safety of all personnel. Duties and Responsibilities:
Executes corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical parts of all equipment and auxiliaries as per job order request and as per manufacturer’s procedures
Assists the contractor/s performing electrical and works
Attend to job orders as requested by the Supervisor
Assists in the reconditioning and rehabilitation of electrical equipment and its components
Evaluates abnormality and immediately applies remedial action/s when necessary
Fills out records and prepares reports upon completion of work. If required, Customer’s report template shall be used.
Ensures cleanliness and orderliness in work area before, during and after work
Conducts routine inspection of electrical equipment including switchgear, power transformers, vacuum circuit breakers, motor control centers, lighting, electrical panels, etc. Reports the abnormality to all concerned
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Electrical Technical course with TESDA NC2 Certification
At least three (3) year experience as electrical technician in the maintenance of Power Plants (Diesel/Renewable Energy-Solar/BESS/Thermal etc) or Industrial manufacturing plants.
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word) is an advantage
Attention to detail and problem-solving analytical skills
With valid driver’s license (if required)
Knowledge in air conditioning maintenance will be a plus.
Basic electrical knowledge is required. Must be able to interpret electrical/ instrumentation design/plans.
