Job Summary: The Cashier is responsible for handling transactions at the point of sale, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash and electronic payments efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Customer Transactions:
Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
Scan items, process payments, and issue receipts, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist with any inquiries or issues they may have.
Provide product information and recommendations as needed.
Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Cash Management:
Verify and reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Ensure that all transactions are recorded correctly, and that cash is handled securely.
Sales and Promotions:
Inform customers about ongoing promotion and sales programs.
Upsell and cross-sell products when appropriate.
Maintenance and Organization:
Keep the checkout area clean and organized, including restocking bags and supplies as needed.
Follow company procedures for handling returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Compliance:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer privacy.
Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Any Business-Related Course is preferable; but other Courses are Welcome to Apply.
Must be proficient in using MS Office and other related applications.
Has Good Communication and Customer Relation Skills.
