Job Summary: The Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling financial transactions, and maintaining accurate cash register operations at Anyhow Inasal. The cashier will ensure smooth order processing, accurate billing, and efficient coordination with the kitchen staff to meet customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders.
Provide information about the menu, including special offers and promotions.
Address customer concerns or inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
Transaction Processing:
Operate the cash register and other point-of-sale (POS/LOYVERSE) equipment accurately.
Process payments using cash or GCash.
Issue receipts and ensure the correct change is given.
Keep track of all transactions during the shift and balance cash drawers at the end of the day.
Order Handling:
Take and process customer orders quickly and accurately.
Communicate orders to the kitchen staff clearly and ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Double-check orders before releasing them to customers, especially for takeout and delivery.
Cash and Inventory Management:
Monitor cash flow and report any discrepancies to the manager.
Assist in managing stocks of packaging materials and other cashier-related supplies.
Maintain records of all daily transactions and submit financial reports as required.
Store Maintenance and Cleanliness:
Ensure the cashier counter is clean and organized at all times.
Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
Follow health and safety protocols to ensure the safety of both customers and employees.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order processing.
Assist other team members during busy periods or when required.
Participate in store meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in cashiering or customer service, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
Skills:
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and digital payment platforms is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to work in Sta. Ana, Manila.
Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks such as carrying food orders.
