We are looking for a like-minded, like-hearted Assistant Regional Director who is passionate about advancing the Kingdom of God and serving off-grid communities nationwide by bringing renewable solutions for their development. The ASSISTANT REGIONAL DIRECTOR will take the lead in setting up and supervising hubs within their assigned region through: Market Understanding & Prioritization
You will identify and evaluate potential branches or geographic clusters for expansion or consolidation, considering current and prospective partner distribution channels and marketing strategies.
You will develop and maintain a comprehensive map of target markets, logistics hubs, competitors, and partners to inform operational planning and strategy development.
You will lead the setting up of hubs by facilitating the hiring of competent hub staff, ensuring the sustained training of hub or partner staff, and enforcing company standards on business practices, supply chain management, and customer service.
Network and Program Development
You will cultivate relationships with regional organizations to establish partnerships and gather market and technology insights.
You will guide the hub branches or hub partners in building relationships with regional organizations, facilitating initial connections.
You will engage with the board of directors and management leaders of regionally-based organizations.
Head Office & Team Coordination
You will be constantly coordinating with the General Manager, representing the hub managers from his respective region and working closely with warehouse, operations, and finance staff on sales planning, order forecasting, order fulfillment, maintenance, accounts receivable, and other administrative concerns.
You will supervise the Logistics Technicians and Administrative Officers and ensure that all their deliverables are met in a timely manner with coordination between the Chief Log Tech Manager and Chief Administrative Manager.
Profit and Loss Management
You will assist the hub manager in sales and costs to achieve profitable operations.
You will monitor, consolidate, and analyze profit and loss information from the hub and prepare consolidated regional reports.
People Management
You will provide consistent communication and support to Hub Managers, offering feedback and guidance.
You will encourage continuous development of knowledge and skills among Hub Managers through mentoring and training.
We're looking for candidate with the following competencies:
Holding a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution; graduate degree or equivalent work experience considered.
Having a minimum of five years of experience in sales, micro-finance, and rural community fieldwork across various geographic settings.
Demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently foster relationships with mission-aligned partners across provinces.
Exhibiting proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point, along with knowledge of database and spatial tools.
