Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Asphalt Plant Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment in asphalt plants. This role requires a willingness to travel to various locations across the Philippines to provide on-site support and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair:

• Perform routine maintenance on asphalt plant equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in plant machinery and equipment.
• Replace worn or damaged parts to prevent machinery downtime.

Troubleshooting:

• Identify root causes of equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to detect and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Inspection and Testing:

• Conduct regular inspections of plant machinery and equipment to ensure they meet safety and operational standards.
• Test repaired machinery to verify that repairs were successful and equipment is functioning properly.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment failures and extend equipment life.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.

On-Site Service:

• Travel to various locations across the Philippines to provide on-site mechanical support and repair services.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize production downtime.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with plant operators and other team members to ensure efficient plant operations.
• Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics and plant staff as needed.

Other Duties:

• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of [1] year of experience in maintaining and repairing asphalt plant equipment or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work in various locations across the Philippines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to asphalt plant operations.

Work Environment:

• The position involves working in various field locations with exposure to different weather conditions.
• May require extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects.
• Frequent travel, including overnight stays, is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
