Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced End-to-End proactive Sr. Accountant to join our team who not only takes charge of managing all financial transactions using Xero but also actively participates in day-today operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management, primarily using Xero.
• Enter, reconcile, and manage all financial transactions in Xero, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial information and reports in Xero.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Maintain the accurate and timely filing of financial documents
• Prepare GST reports that comply with Australian Taxation Office requirements through Xero.
• Understand FBT implications to ensure the transactions are recorded accurately
• Assist with annual budgeting and financial planning processes, leveraging Xero's reporting capabilities.
• Support compliance processes by providing necessary documentation and insights from Xero.
• Implement and improve accounting processes within Xero for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with business objectives and ensure effective communication of financial information.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA or CA qualification preferred.
• Proven experience as an accountant, with a strong understanding of end-to-end accounting processes and hands-on experience with Xero.
• Familiarity with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and execute tasks in a well-organized manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work onsite.
