Location: Karachi- Head Office based
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Telecom Technician/Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of telecommunication systems, including telephone, internet, and data services. This role involves troubleshooting, optimizing network performance, and collaborating with other IT professionals to ensure seamless operation of our communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:
·Install, configure, and maintain telecommunication systems, including telephone, internet, and data services.
· Troubleshoot and repair issues related to network, cabling, and equipment failures.
· Monitor network performance, suggest upgrades or improvements, and implement necessary changes.
· Test, configure, and optimize telecommunications hardware such as routers, switches, and modems.
· Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure smooth operation of communication systems.
· Stay updated with the latest technologies in the telecom field and implement new systems as needed.
· Provide exceptional customer support by resolving service issues, assisting with installations, and addressing concerns.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in telecommunication system installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of network performance monitoring and optimization.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting telecommunications hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
