The IT Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for overseeing the IT operations and ensuring the effective and secure operation of all systems in CBO. This role includes managing identity and access management, automation, and monitoring tools, as well as implementing and maintaining Network Operational Centres (NOC), ITSM integrations, and application performance monitoring. Additionally, the IT Operations Senior Specialist will support CBO digital initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage identity, access management solutions and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
· Implement and maintain automation tools such as Manage Engine,Splunk and any other automation tools.
· Utilize monitoring tools like Splunk and Manage Engine Op Manager Plus for system and network performance.
· Manage and operate backup solutions including Veeam and Commvault and implement tapeless technology across CBO sites.
· Ensure data integrity and availability through effective backup strategies.
· Work with support team to develop and manage the NOC for continuous network monitoring and issue resolution.
· Integrate IT Service Management (ITSM) tools with operational monitoring systems.
· Implement and maintain application performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
· Develop and oversee cloud access controls to ensure secure and compliant access to cloud resources.
· System Security and Data Protection:
· Ensure data handling and processing comply with legal and CBO policies and guidelines.
· Provide advanced technical support and resolve escalated issues.
· Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to support new projects and resolve technical problems.
· Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT operations and support.
· Drive digital transformation efforts such as cloud migration, AI and machine learning integration, and the implementation of Io T solutions.
· Support initiatives in areas like data analytics, automation, and customer experience enhancement.
· Implement and manage Dev Ops concepts to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.
· Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and improve release cycles.
· Implement Dev Ops tools such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes for efficient software development and deployment.
· Ensure the adoption of Dev Ops best practices, including infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and automated testing.
· Migrating to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to enhance scalability, flexibility, and cost-efficiency.
· Implementing hybrid cloud solutions to balance on-premises and cloud resources.
· Integrating AI/ML for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and automation of routine tasks.
· Utilizing AI for enhanced security measures such as advanced threat detection.
· Implementing Io T solutions for real-time monitoring and data collection from various devices.
· Enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making through Io T analytics.
· Introduce m implement using tools like Manage Engine, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef for configuration management and automated deployment.
· Streamlining IT processes and reducing manual intervention through automation.
· Adopting Dev Ops methodologies to foster collaboration between development and operations teams.
· Implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
· Enhancing cybersecurity measures with advanced tools and practices such as zero trust security models and multi-factor authentication.
· Implementing analytics tools to improve performance monitoring and predictive analytics.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
· Proven experience with identity and access management, automation tools, and system monitoring.
· Extensive knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault) and cloud access control.
· Experience in setting up and managing Network Operational Centres.
· Proficiency in ITSM tool integration and application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace).
· Strong understanding of network infrastructure, system security, and data protection regulations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Experience with implementing and managing Dev Ops practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, Comp TIA Security+).
· Master’s degree in a related field.
