Service Receptionist M-B Automobile Services Limited Job Title: Service Receptionist Location: Lagos. About the Role: The Service Receptionist will be the first point of contact between the customers, and this is where customer and vehicle data will be determined. They will be in charge of coordinating with Service Advisors and they will also organize appointments and convey messages to customers based on recalls. Responsibilities
Receiving customers and coordinating the reception and handover of them.
Coordinating the scope of services for repair and maintenance with the customer and obtaining their approval.
Utilizing various checklists during service reception (service registration, reception preparation, carrying out reception and preliminary diagnosis), to check and document the proper performance of the individual work steps.
Ensuring the customer's appointment is kept, and making sure the customer's vehicle is in order and clean once servicing is concluded.
Monitoring the degree to which maintenance and repair orders have been completed and coordinating order additions or appointment changes with the customer and the workshop.
Documenting the performed work and ensuring that the vehicle is at the parking lot.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other related field is required.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years work experience in the automotive sector.
Basic knowledge of vehicle systems.
Ability to utilize technology and applications effectively (e-mail programs: Lotus Notes, MS Office, the Internet, e-business, intranet, etc.).
Basic professional experience in dealing with customers and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to plan and organize effectively.
Ability to follow instructions in a timely manner.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
