Job description The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of specific projects under the foundation of various programs. The role requires ensuring that projects ae completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with the Project Lead to align project goals with the Foundation' mission to address literacy, nutrition, and health care challenges in Eastern Nigeria particularly in rural Anambra State. RESPONSIBILITIES § Engage in the company’s mission and vision by maintaining the departmental structure sufficiency to meet the Company’s Credit goals and guide the members to achieve the set objectives. § Develop comprehensive project plans including scope timelines, budgets and resource requirements. § Coordinate with the Project Lead to align project objectives with overall program goals. § Establish clear project milestones and deliverables. § Oversee and be accountable for daily project activities to ensure timely and quality delivery. § Manage project teams ensuring clear communication of tasks Mid responsibilities. § Utilize project management tools and techniques to tack project progress. § Implement monitoring and evaluation framework to assess project performance. § Conduct regular project reviews and prepare detailed progress reports. § Identify and address any issues or risks that may impact project success. § Effective communication with all project stakeholders’ beneficiaries, partners, and donors. § Ensure stakeholders are kept informed of project progress project plan changes. § Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops needed. § Optimal utilization of project resources, including financial, human, and material resources. § Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints. § Identify additional resources needs and work with the Project Lead to secure them. § Accountable for all the employees in the Eastern part of the foundation. § Leal and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support needed § Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment and address any challenges. Support the profession and development of team members. REQUIREMENTS § A bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Social Sciences, Public Health or any related discipline. § A postgraduate is required. § A Professional Certificate or equivalent is an advantage. § A minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably within the NGO sector. § Proven track record of man aging projects from inception on to completion. § Experience in monitoring and education of development projects. § Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and community engagement.
