MAINTENANCE /FACILITY OFFICER
Job Title – Maintenance Officer
Job Type - Full-Term
Location - Magodo, Lagos
Salary – N50, 000
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance /Facility Officer with hands on experience and solid technical knowledge to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and maintenance. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are in order and functional.
Responsibilities
· Perform emergency repairs, minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
· Ensure that all maintenance process and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
· Inspect different equipment, check control panels, electrical wiring and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required
· Install appliances and equipment
· Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
· Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems
· Check functionality of safety systems
· Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Requirements and skills
· Proven experience at least 2years as maintenance Officer in hospitality industry, restaurant and bar
· Minimum of SSCE
· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, generator and electrical systems
· Experience using hand and electrical tools
· Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
· Very good foresight, communication and interpersonal skills
· Physical stamina and dexterity
· Successful completion of an apprenticeship is required
