Job Experience
-We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Insurance Operations Analyst and Partnerships to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational processes of our insurance division, analyzing key performance metrics, and driving strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry, exceptional analytical skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1) Operational Analysis:
- Analyze and optimize the end-to-end processes within the insurance operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational changes and enhancements.
- Ensure the timely deliverables and meeting of deadlines by all stakeholders. Develop technology required draft for implementation and engage in its business analysis.
2) Sales & Partnership Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships to expand the company’s insurance offerings and market reach.
- Lead and manage the company insurance sales endeavors to generate revenue, including events and sales outreach
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain strong relationships with partners, addressing issues and opportunities as they arise.
- Share weekly status updates and aid initial stakeholder’s engagements, negotiations and automation support.
3) Data Management and Reporting:
- Oversee the collection, management, and analysis of data related to insurance operations.
- Daily data gathering and updates on insurance product information using primary sources.
- Using available data, create several needs based focused operations manual that includes scenarios of (SLA, TAT, and operations & procedural manuals) that varies depending on the stakeholders involved.
- Identifying patterns and trends in data sets Defining new data collection and analysis processes
- Use of technical expertise to cull data through advanced computerized models; then, extrapolate data patterns.
- Analyze all results.
- Reporting the results back to the relevant members of the business.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance and partnership outcomes.
4) Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure that all insurance operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify potential risks within operational processes and partnerships, developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
-Understanding and Integration of property owners' life cycle needs and requirements. Collate previous product information from regulatory bodies using secondary sources and show property trends (ownership and risk).
- Collect & update all variable related cost associated with property insurance and ownership.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all practices are in line with legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Minimum Second Class).
- Insurance related study and professional certifications are an added advantage.
Skill Required:
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years experience in an operational role in an insurance company, and a minimum of 1 year experience in a sales role in an insurance company
Competencies:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of insurance products, underwriting, claims, and regulatory environments. Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
Good team working and interpersonal skills with conflict management ability.
The ability to create accurate working plans with attention to details and meeting deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
