Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grant Writer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. As the Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and managing the grant submission process from start to finish. You will work closely with our leadership and program staff to ensure that Caring and Sharing continues to expand its impact and reach.
This is a remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining collaboration with our passionate team.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with Caring and Sharing’s mission.
- Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports to prospective funders.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information, data, and supporting documents for grant applications.
- Manage the full grant lifecycle, including tracking application deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of grant applications, communications with funders, and submission outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing funders, ensuring timely follow-up and updates.
- Stay informed on funding trends and opportunities in the nonprofit sector, adjusting strategies accordingly.
- Proven experience as a successful grant writer with a strong track record in securing funding for nonprofits.
- Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to tailor proposals to meet the specific priorities of funders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with grant management software and tools (e.g., Grant Hub, Foundation Directory Online) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with the team.
