Responsibilities
- Welcome customers as they enter the store and help them find what they need by sharing information about products and making recommendations.
- Reach your sales goals by encouraging customers to buy products and suggesting additional items they might like.
- Use social media like Instagram, Facebook, and Whats App to show off products, answer questions from customers, and attract more visitors to the store.
- Handle sales transactions using the cash register, keep track of inventory, and ensure orders are processed correctly and quickly.
- Make sure products are displayed nicely and organized according to the store's guidelines, and help with creating appealing product displays.
- Provide support after customers make a purchase, resolve any complaints, and ensure they have a great shopping experience.
- Work closely with the Store Manager and your teammates to keep the store running smoothly and achieve store goals.
- Help manage stock by restocking items and keeping everything organized on the sales floor.
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in retail or children’s wares.
- Proficient in using social media platforms for business promotion.
- Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for customer service and working with children’s products.
- Ability to create engaging social media content.
- Experience in retail marketing or promotions.
- Familiarity with modern technology.
