Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Creative Teaching Artist at Sipand Paint.NG in Lagos.
The Teaching Artist will be responsible for leading a Variety of art sessions: From Painting,Printmaking, Candle making, Pottery, Hand Mould, Basket Weaving and Many More.
At Sip and Paint . NG our Teaching Artists are versatile guiding participants (Adults & Children) in creative activities, and fostering a supportive and engaging environment for artistic expression.
Pay: ₦60,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month

- Creating & developing paintings to be taught in classes and used for promotional items.
- Developing & executing detailed teaching methods
- Instructing customers during class in an energetic, clear and well-paced manner while encouraging creativity and creating a relaxed, fun atmosphere
- Assembling products used for our classes and clean-up at the end of class
- Assisting customers and staff member(s) to ensure smooth class flow and promote customer creativity success through teamwork and positive attitude.
- Creating Art work for The Metaphor Art Gallery & SPNL Art Gallery
- Live Paintings for Events and other Art Mediums
- Ability to design and execute quality, acrylic paintings in various painting styles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Basic computer skills and internet knowledge (and have access to a computer)
- Public Speaking or performance skills (comfortable speaking on a microphone)
- Time management and communication skills
- You must be at least 21 years of age
- You must have reliable transportation to come to Victoria Island
- You must be serious about creating Art work & Learning New Art Forms!
- Proficiency in various art mediums and techniques
- Experience in teaching or facilitating art classes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate participants
- Knowledge of art history and theory
- Patience and empathy in working with individuals of all skill levels
- Creativity and adaptability in lesson planning
- Relevant degree or certification in art education or fine arts
Pay: ₦60,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
