Overview
We are seeking a talented Content Creator/Video Editor to play a key role in developing engaging visual content for social media, our website, and other digital platforms. This role involves conceptualizing, shooting, editing, and enhancing video content to support our brand’s message. The ideal candidate has a strong design and storytelling background, along with expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and digital content production.
Job Summary: The individual will produce high-quality videos, infographics, and other multimedia content for social media, You Tube, website, and other channels. The ideal candidate is proficient in video editing, has a strong design background, and can bring innovative ideas to life through visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, shoot, and edit original video content for social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Facebook) and other digital channels.
Create visually appealing graphics, infographics, and animations to complement video content and social media posts.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align content with brand voice and strategic marketing objectives.
Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring compliance with format requirements (e.g., aspect ratios and video lengths).
Develop storyboards, scripts, and shot lists to guide video projects, ensuring clarity and creativity in storytelling.
Edit raw video footage, including tasks such as color correction, sound balancing, transitions, and adding text or subtitles.
Maintain a content calendar by planning and scheduling posts in coordination with the social media team.
Track content performance metrics and refine strategies to improve engagement and reach.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Proven experience in content creation, video editing, and graphic design.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Da Vinci Resolve).
Strong skills in motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
Familiarity with social media platforms and video formats for Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and Facebook.
Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create visually engaging content.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of social media trends and ability to adjust content strategies based on audience engagement.
Knowledge of 2D and 3D animation techniques will be advantageous for this role.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with photography and videography.
Basic copywriting skills to create engaging captions and descriptions.
Understanding of SEO and keyword optimization for video content.
