Job Description: Content Creator and Social Media Manager
As a Content Creator and Social Media Manager at Samic-Idea Multiventure, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence, driving sales, and managing customer relationships. Your role will support our Virtual Top-Up (VTU) solutions and other offerings, with a primary focus on user acquisition and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and reach.
• Build and nurture a vibrant online community with the goal of rapid growth and monetization.

Content Creation:

• Create engaging, shareable content—text, images, and video content—that aligns with our brand identity and target audience.
• Write compelling copy for various marketing materials and produce blog posts using SEO-driven keywords to drive organic traffic.

Social Media Management:

• Manage and grow channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Tik Tok, and Whats App.
• Track and analyze social media metrics for performance improvement.

Community Engagement:

• Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster brand loyalty.

Email Marketing:

• Send regular, engaging emails with updates and promotions to build customer relationships.

Paid Advertising:

• Oversee lead generation-focused ad campaigns to optimize reach, engagement, and conversion, ensuring efficient use of the ad budget.

Collaboration and Vendor Support:

• Provide content and social media expertise to projects.
• Train and collaborate with Samic vendors, helping them grow their brands and online engagement.

Mentoring Young Professionals:

• Guide and support young professionals at our tech hub, sharing insights in content creation and social media management.

User Experience (UX) Optimization & SEO:

• Apply SEO best practices and UX principles to improve content visibility and enhance user engagement on all digital channels.

Staying Current:

• Stay informed on the latest trends in social media and content creation.

Qualifications:

• Strong content writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content in both Hausa and English.
• Proven experience in content creation across various platforms.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and drive organic traffic.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools to track performance metrics.
• Creative and innovative mindset, capable of developing unique content strategies.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Graphic design skills to create visually appealing content.
• Video editing skills for producing engaging multimedia content.
• Experience with paid social media advertising to maximize reach and engagement.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ibadan: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
