The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and providing financial advice to support the company’s decision-making process. An accountant with a firm background in a middle size factory acting as the account controller.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage tax filings, including income tax, VAT, and other regulatory filings.
Conduct audits and internal reviews to ensure financial integrity.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Provide financial advice and insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Maintain and update financial records and accounting systems.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
In-depth knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
Experience with financial software, such as Quick Books, SAP, or Oracle.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and part of a team.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
