Backend Developer (Remote/Hybrid)

Role Description/ Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Node.js and Express.js.
- Implement and optimize APIs and services to ensure seamless integration with frontend applications.
- Manage real-time data transfer through Web Socket protocols.
- Integrate email functionalities using Nodemailer.
- Design and manage database schemas using Mongo DB and Mongoose.
- Develop secure and scalable payment processing systems using the Stripe SDK.
- Document code and create technical documentation to ensure maintainability and clarity.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and code reviews.
Experience
Required Skills
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend programming
Proficiency in.
  • Node.js
  • Express.js
  • Java Script ES6
  • Web Socket
  • Nodemailer
  • Mongo DB
  • Mongoose
  • Stripe SDK
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Unit testing methodologies
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., Vue.js, React) for better collaboration with frontend teams.
