Purpose of Job
Responsible for developing and executing the automation/maintenance strategy relating to production lines.
Drives innovation and improvement of lines. Manages people and resources to ensure uncompromised safety, availability and quality while minimizing the impact on the environment.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Plan maintenance as per preventive maintenance schedule.
2. Check & verify maintenance schedule.
3. Take & save guard all PLC programed back up for packaging line & processing equipment.
4. Prepare preventive maintenance schedule for instrumentation, electrical & automation preventive.
Maintenance.
5. Prepare preventive maintenance schedule for checkweigher.
6. Plan preventive maintenance for all motors in process.
7. Plan preventive for TPIH in packaging lines.
8. Carry out power analysis for the panels as per schedule.
9. Prepare preventive maintenance schedule for all VFD's
10. Prepare calibration schedule for all process instruments
11. Repair & refurnish faulty spares & contribute in R & M savings.
12. Carry out Process improvements as per the requirement
13. Co-ordination with projects
14. Carry out process validation after project completion.
15. Monitoring of process parameters
16. Make sure all lines PLMS is in healthy condition.
17. Extend support to SMB & CHI snacks as & when required
18. Provide Training to team as per requirement
Requirements
Education/Knowledge:
1. Mechatronics or Electrical engineering graduate; minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in Automation or Instrumental and Electrical maintenance.
2. Demonstrated experience, proven track record in trouble shooting and analysis of instrumentation and process engineering system problems.
3. Knowledge of Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis and root cause analysis.
Working Experience:
1. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests.
2. Creative thinking skills.
3. Detail-oriented personality.
4. Excellent operating manual application.
5. Ability to communicate well to other members of the development team.
6. Experience in execution of automation projects
7. Knowledge of FMCG processes: Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering, Health and Safety
8. Operational planning expertise/experience
9. Delegation and team player skills
10. Understanding of financial impact of decisions
11. Ability to think in terms of functional sustainability rather than short term wins.
12. Ability to build relationships to improve results and understand what drives peers in other units.
13. Open-minded and willing to experiment and try new things.
14. Ability to implement quality and health, safety & environment improvements.
