Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all accounting activities related to client accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and offering tailored solutions.
Regularly communicate with clients to ensure their financial objectives are being met, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization, providing insights for strategic decision-making.
Ensure all financial documentation complies with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to guide decision-making and financial planning.
Monitor spending against budgets and forecasts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support in daily tasks and long-term projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure financial objectives align with overall company goals.
Facilitate communication between departments to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy in reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Implement new technologies, software, and tools to streamline financial operations and reporting.
Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
Identify and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Work closely with the business development team to assess new client opportunities and ensure profitable account management.
Develop and implement strategies to retain existing clients by delivering high-quality financial services and personalized account management.
Lead negotiations on financial terms with clients and vendors, ensuring favorable agreements that align with company objectives.
Manage contracts, ensuring that all financial obligations and deliverables are met within agreed-upon terms.
Requirements:
Proven experience in account management
Strong understanding of client needs and market trends
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders
Proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, accounting, or a course certification in this field.
