Whānau support worker

We are looking for a part time support worker with experience working with autism who will be working along side a young female. The shifts are Tuesday 3.30pm-6pm and Saturday 9.30am-1pm with additional hours if required in the Newlands area.

You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endless!

- Good communication skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, including experience working with youth.
- Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.

- Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others thinking, and their way of living life that may be different to your own.
