This work is both part of a programme and fault and emergency situations as required working across the central and lower North Island. Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills
Relevant qualification (Arborist Level 4), or willing to undertake study towards qualification
Experienced in vegetation, arborist, logging or civil labouring work
Physical stamina to carry out arduous manual work, often in trying conditions
Desirable Skills
Understanding of Land Owner Liaison
A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements, including overhead distribution systems and of the Electricity (Hazards from Trees) Regulations would be beneficial.
