Truck Driver

We are looking for an experienced truck driver to join our growing team based in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.
As a truck driver, you are required to effectively and safely transport materials and goods to and from building sites or businesses.
You are expected to make deliveries in a safe but timely manner ensuring smooth running of the delivery schedule.
You are also expected to participate in a profitable and enjoyable working environment and be a positive, willing, contributing and adaptable member of the team at all times.
Your responsibilities also include:

Management of external and internal relationships and customer service.
Adhere to company system and processes, ensure regular maintenance schedule and safe unloading/loading works with the area well maintained and clear of hazards.
Carry out general practice and maintenance as a qualified driver.

To be qualified for this role, you need to demonstrate:

At least 1-year relevant work experience
Holding a valid NZ Class 2 licence or above
Able to comply with truck driving rules and regulations
Willing to undertake training required to meet the requirements and scope of this role.
Able to undertake and pass the drug and alcohol test required.

For the successful candidate, we provide an hourly rate from $29.66 to $31.61 with guaranteed 30 working hours per week.
