Truck Driver
NZ Load Carrier Limited is a trusted logistics company specialising in efficient and timely transportation services across New Zealand. We seek skilled truck drivers to join our team in the Canterbury region, who will be responsible for the following duties:

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Drive and operate trucks that are allotted to you.
- Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
- Pick up furniture and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
- Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy
- Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.
Other important requirements:
- Minimum 6 months of relevant work experience
- Must have a valid Truck Driver's license.
- Available to Work on weekends
- Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Self-motivated and a passionate individual
- Hardworking individual
- Physically fit to be able to lift heavy loads manually
Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
