We are looking for an experienced Training Lead for a fixed term period of 12 months to join our team in Christchurch or for the right candidate across New Zealand.
The Training Lead will be responsible for supporting our Radiologists to ensure they have the right skills at the right time. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering training on Radiologist reporting software. The priority of the role will be work with the National Manager – Anytime Teleradiology, Chief Medical Officer and the Chief Technical Officer to put in place a pragmatic, fact-based training programme for this project.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Framework Implementation:
- Collaborate on the development and execution of a comprehensive training framework for radiologists, trainers, super users, and users.
- Create and deliver training across the Radiologist Group nationally.
Onboarding & Training:
- Support the onboarding process for new employees and the ongoing maintenance of skills including through annual refresher training, potentially aligned with the CPD model.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other trainers and super users across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal and external training providers to ensure targeted and cost-effective training delivery
- Work closely with Managers to seek feedback on training needs.
Support:
- Assist in establishing and maintaining a robust support structure, including central capability and local/regional trainers.
Continuous Improvement:
- Provide feedback to ensure the training framework evolves to meet organisational needs. Work alongside software vendors to ensure we understand and can take advantage of new features.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Adult Learning is desirable.
Knowledge/experience
- Experience working in a healthcare environment and the ability to interact confidently with clinical staff.
- An understanding of radiology workflows and tools would be beneficial.
- Passion and expertise in working collaboratively with others, coaching and guiding through effective training strategies.
- Technology-literate and interested in innovative technology solutions particularly as they relate to streamlining processes and delivery as well as the ability to train others in the use of software tools to do their job.
- Ability to share and grow skill in others related to training and development.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the proven ability to present to a group
